I used this product for a little over 4 weeks straight to assist feed my cat, who was suffering from renal failure. I used it until I could get her to eat on her own. I used it 2-3 times a day and I washed it out each time. It works well, and I did not get any of the numbers rubbing off quickly as I saw in some reviews. I am not sure how other people washed theirs, but I only hand-washed mine. I never put in the dishwasher.

This is a good quality, large syringe which works well not only for hand feeding and tube feeding but also for flushing and hygiene in different veterinary applications. It is especially good for feeding the babies of the larger parrot and passerine bird species.

I purchased this in order to accurately add anti-ethanol additives to my gasoline. When the add rate is 1 ounce per 10 gallons, it is difficult to accurately measure for that 1 gallon of 50:1 two stroke for your blower or weedeater. As there are roughly 30cc to the ounce, it's quite easy to measure out 3 cc. It would probably work well to squirt stuff in your pet's mouth, but I did not buy it for that reason.
