I am giving this feeder 4/5 stars because its only flaw is the wire that runs throughout the unit. It is not secure enough to hold the weight of the seed. But, once I added some twine and formed a loop over the branch, there has been no problem. Despite that, I would still highly recommend this feeder. The construction is sturdy, and now the birds are lining up to use it. I usually have 2 birds on there at any given time. Often there are 4 birds using it, 1 standing on top of it, and 3-4 under it picking up the leftovers. I also like its simple, but attractive appearance. A good product.

on the good side the birds absolutely loved this feeder - cardinals, blue jays, finches, doves and on and on. i previously had 3 different feeders at the spot where i hung this one and they never attracted much attention. the second i put this one up it became everybody's favorite.
however you get what you pay for. it got knocked down by a squirrel one day and broke. tried patching it up, but nothing would hold it together consistently. it only lasted about four months. there are much sturdier feeders out there, but hard to find one the bird like so much.

This little feeder is the BEST!! I have bought 3 so far... The birds love it..
Even the cardinals...and the price is a steal!!! Try mixed seeds!!!
