This is the second one I've purchased, due to the overflow of birds on the first one! The chains are "cheap" and the feeder hangs a bit crooked, but the birds don't care! They won't eat from my "tube" style feeders, but this hanging tray feeder is never "birdless" until it is empty! It's great for birders and people who care about wildlife but are on a budget, as it attracts birds without investing in fancy, expensive feeders.

The fact that the birds can not only perch on the sides but also rest inside the large feeder tray makes it a most popular "party pad buffet" for the birds.

Came as described, Hangs straight. Looks way better than our plactic platform feeder. Perfect size for us but if your looking for a large feeder this is not for you.
