I am ordering my second feeder today. I've been using the same one for 3 years now year round, because we have hummers all year long in Phoenix. It is still in perfect condition. I like this one because the parts are mostly metal, and the sun is brutal here on anything plastic. The only problem I've had with it is aligning the bottom correctly so the nectar doesn't leak out. I've mastered it now, so it's not a problem. To avoid breaking the neck off of the jar, I soak the unit in warm water for a few minutes before unscrewing. I'm also very careful not to over tighten. I fill it only half way, as the birds don't like the food if it's over a few days old, especially in warm weather. Here is a trick for cleaning your feeder. Put about 3 Tbls. of white vinegar mixed with two cups of water in the feeder. Add about 1/2 cup of white uncooked rice. (I use a funnel) and shake. The friction from the rice will clean even the dark mold off of the inside. Rinse well before filling.

I was very pleased with this hummingbird feeder. It has the traditional style, without the traditional red and yellow colors. What did surprise me was the size. It was probably just me not paying attention to the description, but it was much larger than I expected.
One thing worth mentioning is that when it arrived, it wasn't level. So nectar was leaking out. The reason it wasn't level is because of the way the wire wraps around the glass (to where it hooks at the top). It has to wrap perfectly and end just at the right angle for it to hang level. Once I adjusted this (just carefully bent the wire until it looked level), it stopped dripping.
I have three feeders and this is my favorite - and I get lots of compliments on it.

The hummers use it and love it. Thats the test. I have another type [ with red flowers and yellow bee guards ] and the hummers prefer this one now. My only complaint, costing 1 star, is the small leakage from feeding holes caused by light winds. That has attracted bees. This does need some kind of bee guard.
I like it for ease of cleaning, filling and for beauty. It's well made, holds lots of nectar and looks wonderful in my tree. FYI You still have to change and clean this at least every 3 days so don't over-fill.
